Unironically Nerdy

Following one of the writers for Castle on twitter linked me to this post about being a nerd girl which then linked me through to the Nerdy Girl Notes

I am struggling to think of words to convey how excited I am to find this. People who are like me, not the same, but they are thinking and making connections and asking questions and most importantly talking about it!

I am an unqualified nerd about a few things and I’ve put some effort into not trying to hide that because it’s an important part of who I am, if you don’t know about my nerdisms you don’t know me.

This has got to be the best, clearest explaination of why we should each embrace and share our inner nerd. The quote is from the Nerd Girl Notes blog.
